⑴ Stereo Wideband Codec
外部设备通过 Analog Input/Output 接口连接在 MSM6550 上,ARM 通过对 ADIE 的配置选择不同的外部设备。Codec 把 DA 后的数据 直接送给外部设备，把 AD 后的数据送给 DSP。DSP 主要用来进行数据处理例如：回声消除，噪音抑止，编码解码等操作。ARM 是 用来配置 DSP 和 CODEC，DSP 必须根据不同的数据类型，装载不同的 IMAGE。

Audio inputs( 2mic, 1 auxiliary) :only one of the inputs is active at any given time and the others are powered down. Two stage amplifiers: gain of the first amplifier can be set to -2,6,8,16db;the gain of the second is set externally. A high pass filter and a slope filter. Audio outputs：Earphone，Headset，Auxo. ADC (13bit, 8k or 16k). Tx and receive Rx filters designed to meet ITU-T G.712.
